Full job description
Position: battery management system engineer
Location: california or texas office ( or home office)
Responsibilities:
1Design and develop the bms system solution.
2Lead customer’s requirements analysis and maintainingDevelop relationships with the client;
3Bms software configuration and integration.
4Commissioning of utility scale energy storage systems.
5Investigate problems and diagnose and repair faults on site.
6Implement requirements using matlab/simulink and c programming.
7Validate model based designs using desktop simulation packages (mil & sil)
8Interact with other teams to develop controls requirements.
9Analyse field data to solve issues related to model/c code implementation
10Manage multiple tasks and responsibilities.
Requirements:
1Bachelor`s degree or higher in computer science, electrical engineering, or related engineering background.
2Must have basic ess knowledgeSound knowledge of bms strategy or ess system control strategy.
3Excellent communication skills.
4Familiarity with automotive industries, battery industrial prefer.
5Having experience with bms system design and development is a plus.
6Have a good understanding of battery installation, commissioning and testing procedures is a plus.
7Hands-on technical experience with energy storage systems is a plus.
82-3 years mechanical engineer or electronic engineer experience.
9Be able to travel 30%-50%.
