The role:
1-800accountant is looking for a quality assurance/user experience tester to join our performance-driven team.
This role will work with product managers, developers and the creative team to review all interactive applications prior to launchThe qa/ux tester will be involved in production from an early phase and will play an integral role in usability testing/quality controlA strong candidate will have incredible attention to detail, a passion for creative design and clear communication skills.
Responsibilities:
Regression support of existing websites
Responsible for creating an end-to-end test plan of projects; executing the plan and managing all activities in the plan to ensure that all the objectives are met and that the solution works as expected
End-to-end testing of functionality, performance, reliability, stability, and compatibility with other legacy- and/or external systems
Ensuring that every phase and feature of the software solution is tested and that any potential issue is identified and fixed before the product goes live
Analysis of requirements to produce test cases
Review of bug fixes and minor system enhancements to ensure expected results are achieved
Working with the developer team to provide continuous iterative feedback
Setting estimates and expectations for task completion, tracking on target deadlines
Other support tasks as required
Qualifications:
2 – 5 years of real-world qa experience
Advanced knowledge of web standards, accessibility standards & browser compatibility
Familiar with agile, jira and sdlc – experience with agile methodology, know the flow of the sprint and how to create accurate bug ticket (attaching imgs/videos)
Experience with ux/ui best practices
Ability to evaluate if the user flow/user experience is user friendly
Able to test from different devices/browsers
Strong communication skills and communication management.
Problem solving and ability to troubleshoot on projects, as well as provide creative solutions and effective processes
Ability to work under pressure, executing well within tight deadlines and changing priorities
Superior communication to translate technical elements to internal teams, product owners and stakeholders
