The head of global technology will lead all aspects of technology enablement for acams’s it transformation agendaThis leader will help ensure the entire organization - not just it, is engaged in continually and proactively delivering innovative, member-centric business solutions in quality focused and market competitive manner.
Overall, the head of global technology owns the it agenda for the core applications of salesforce and drupal including the technology roadmap, infrastructure investments, security, application support, and maintenanceYou will partner and collaborate with operations, marketing, product and other key business leaders to ensure all acams digital initiatives are successful.
Responsibilities
Use your strong leadership experience & it strategy and execution skills to complete current work and provide future direction in support of our organization’s overall market & business goals.
Drive the technology strategy to transition from a b2c business model to a b2b2c model enabling the ability to manage enterprise accounts while also supporting and delivering services to members.
Utilize your expertise with salesforce.com marketing/sales/service/commerce clouds, drupal cms, seo, vertex, to drive transformational initiatives and continuous improvement enhancements.
Ensure salesforce cpq and salesforce sales cloud including objects, users, profiles role creation/maintenance, custom and formula fields, validation rules, page & search layouts and list views, assignment/escalation, workflows, approvals, flows and process builder is performed in an efficient, scalable manner.
Coach, develop, and evolve agile teams by setting clear goals, breaking down silos, removing obstacles, and providing needed coaching and training.
Establish governance, organizational structure, controls and processes to deliver high quality, regularly scheduled sprints to meet both client expectations and business results
Leverage and serve as a liaison to it shared service leaders
Align technology initiatives and operations with the priorities of the organization.
Work with cross-functional teams to negotiate purchase and service agreements and maintain vendor relationships.
Effectively manage operational costs and budgets; participate in annual budgeting process projecting existing and new costs.
Build a high-performing it teamWork with talent acquisition to recruit and retain high caliber colleagues.
Supervise leadership and staffConduct regular performance appraisals and handle employee disciplinary issues.
Assure that all technologies are implemented and managed in compliance with technology policies and procedures set forth by the organization, strategy and policies.
Represent the organization with key technology vendors and industry groups.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technology trends and products, identify opportunities for new initiatives and integration of new technologies into the curriculum.
Completes other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Experience in supporting technology in a b2b2c market
Substantial website & ecommerce technology experience; salesforce.com and drupal preferred.
Demonstrated strategic thinker, leader, and visionary.
Highly effective change agent, both inside it as well as across the broader organization.
Experience leading a team in a globally matrixed organization
Knowledge of best practices for and extensive experience building high performing teams.
Excellent communication skills and ability to be diplomatic and highly responsive in all interpersonal interactions.
Ability to work effectively in areas of ambiguity and capable of creating solutions to complex problems.
Bachelor`s degree required and master’s degree in a related field preferred (years of experience will be considered.)
Substantial supervisory/management experiences, or equivalent professional experience in information and instructional technology.
