Asg technologies is recruiting to hire a senior solutions engineer to join our presales teamThis opportunity is available to qualified candidates who are eligible to work remote in the united states.
Qualifications to be considered:
Extensive experience in enterprise workload schedulers, required.
Understanding of multiple programming languages such as pearl, c++, and powershell, required.
Strong java skills, required.
Well versed in distributed systems technology and ability to present technical concepts in a clear manner, required.
Senior solutions engineer responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Supports both pre and post-sales, including implementation, training, managing proof of value (pov) and provide billable, post-sales consulting.
Provide product expertise by answering portions of request for proposals/request for information (rfp/rfi) for the sales team.
Provide customers and sales reps with product advice and demo support during pre-sales discussions.
Resolve complex pre-sales technical issues working with field sales personnel.
Prepare and perform detailed product demonstrations and product prototypes to prospects.
Educate prospects on the capabilities of organization`s products.
Primary duties will revolve around enterprise workload schedulers.
Maintain advanced knowledge and understanding of company`s products/services and pricing.
Works under minimal supervision with latitude for independent judgment.
May consult with senior peers on certain projects.
Advanced skill set with a high level of proficiency.
Effective communication, interpersonal skills, and professionalism.
Education & experience
Bachelor`s degree or equivalent training in business or areas of product/service specialty.
Itil certification desired.
Usually requires six to nine years of sales experience.
