Our client is a leading a/e firm who is the engineer of choice for several utilities in the southeast u.sThey have a need for a degreed mechanical design engineer with hvac expertise for nuclear power plants to support a multitude of projectsContract through jan/feb 2022 with potential for extensionCan work remotelyCompensation open - very competitive, based on experience.
Requirements:
B.sDegree in mechanical engineering
8+ years’ experience in mechanical design for commercial nuclear power plants – including analysis, calcs, design specs.
Knowledge/expertise in hvac systems, knowledge of selection/sizing of hvac equipment.
Knowledge of engineering-based solver programs such as mathcad or matlab.
Experience in cmisdp process and industry procedure, ip-eng-001.
Preferred:
Experience building analytical models utilizing analysis software including epri gothic software (or equivalent), hydraulic analysis software, or pepse software.
Experience with carrier hap or trane trace software.
