Full job description
Our client, a rapidly growing biotech company in branford, ct, is looking for a qa automation engineer.
This is a 100% remote position
Responsibilities:
Lead the way in building automated software testing frameworks and methodologies at our company
Build and lead a small team of qa automation engineers/sdets and qa engineers responsible for comprehensive testing of our instrument software, data analysis software, and other software tools created by our software development team
Develop a strong understanding of the functionality and specifications of our software, and work closely with our software developers to build suitable frameworks for automated testing of existing and new features in our software
Responsibilities cover a wide range of software testing methods, including unit and integration testing, functional testing, gui testing, regression testing, end-to-end testing, and so on.
Develop and maintain quality automation code; refactor and extend test automation frameworks and suites as necessary
Analyze and report on test results, coverage, trends, known bugs, and trends
Skills & qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related technical field is required
3-5 years of experiment in software testing
Excellent working knowledge of google test framework
Strong working knowledge of c/c++
Experience with qt application development platform is preferred
Experience with atlassian software development tools such as jira and bitbucket is preferred
