Full job description
Jump writing (a division of adventures in writing camp) is a new online after-school writing learning-centerWe are looking for highly skilled and motivated writing instructors to join our impressive teamWhether you are a current student with a passion for writing or a seasoned writer that would like to diversify your portfolio, we need perfervid individuals who are ready to join our joyous journey.
You: as an instructor with jump writing, you would be working with multiple grade levelsYou would work with three students at a time having the ability to teach one at a time while the others were working through lessons/workbookYou would work closely with students to keep them on task as well as make sure each session was productive.
Us: the jump writing curriculum has been pre-designed so you would need to absorb the lessons quickly to be prepared for each student/levelEach session is 50 minutes in length and each student works 3-4 times a week with an instructor.
Schedule: all sessions would take place on pst from 4-7pmFlexibility would be required based on student demand and we would need you to remain on-call depending on student numbers.
Qualifications and requirements: you must have a passion for writing and an aptitude for grammar, spelling, vocabulary and other fundamental writing skillsYou must have supreme patience for working with students of all grade levels and abilitiesYou should have excellent communication skills both with children and adultsYou should have outstanding organization skills and the ability to multitask efficiently.
Compensation: $18-20/hour doe
Work location: we are a california based company, but all work will be performed remotelyYou must have a working device and steady internetAll hours of sessions will be in pst.
