Job description
As a senior front end developer, you will be responsible for combining the art of design with the art of programmingYour primary responsibility will be to help lead the development applications and to coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the platformYou will be working along-side other engineers, developers, and designers working on different layers of the infrastructureThe team will rely on your expertise to help with high level architecture and innovationTherefore, commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and creating high quality products is essential.
Responsibilities
Develop front-end systems with an emphasis on user-friendliness, developer-friendliness, robustness, and maintainability
Create trustworthy user experiences by building interfaces that are simple, easy to comprehend, performant, and reliable.
Maintain high standard of quality as you creatively and strategically problem solve throughout the product delivery process
Ensure the technical feasibility of ui designs
Optimize applications for maximum performance and scalability
Possess a strong desire to do one’s best work in a team environment where collaboration and alignment are extremely important.
Participate in all scrum activities including sprint planning, daily standup, and reviews
Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
Skills & qualifications
5+ years of experience developing front end web applications
In-depth understanding of web standards & markup including html5 & css3, asynchronous request handling, cross-browser compatibility, modern security standards, etc
Expert proficiency in javascript & typescript
Ability to use design patterns to create simple and reusable components for complex uis
Expert understanding of client-side scripting and javascript frameworks such as vue.js
Knowledge of current trends and best practices in front-end architecture, including performance optimization, accessibility, and usability
Experience building on top of asp.net core mvc projects
Familiarity with c#, amazon web services, and azure devops is a solid plus
Experience consuming restful apis
Familiarity with working in a scrum environment
Comfortable working with a semi or fully remote team
Excellent communication skills and experience in collaborative environments
Active engagement with the development team in all our scrum ceremonies
The desire to be continually learning about emerging technologies/industry trends
