All day kitchens is seeking an experienced communications manager passionate about revolutionizing the way restaurants operate in the digital, delivery and takeout eraYour mission is to help craft our story and secure the right media coverage at the right time to support business goalsThis is a remote role with hybrid access to our market offices, and a preference for someone living in the bay area, la, chicago or nyc.
About this role
Lead the public relations and influencer marketing strategy at the national level and locally within each market
Collaborate on creative ideation of marketing initiatives based on targeted objectives aimed at brand awareness, reputation, and engagement
Own all press releases, media alerts, pitches, blogs, talking points, team media training, materials sourcing and press kit upkeep
Manage relationships with top journalists and influencers across multiple markets
Work cross-functionally with internal leadership, legal, marketing, culinary and operations teams to source information, prepare stakeholders for media coverage
Secure high profile business press, revenue driving local consumer coverage
Remote role with the ability to work onsite in chicago, sf bay area or
Requirements
2-5 years experience in communications / pr required, policy / legal experience preferred
Loves relationship building with journalists and influencers
Strong understanding of national and local media landscapes across business, tech, f&b / hospitality
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Growth mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally with many internal and external stakeholders
Organized self-starter ready to hit the ground running on projects with limited supervision
High level of accountability and ownership with deadlines and quality of work
Excited to work in a fast paced, dynamic, and ambiguous startup environment
