Description
This is a contract positionThe ideal candidate will have experience in transaction real estate in the state of new york and have experience with leap softwareThe firm is a small, family-run law firm located in midtownThe hours are flexible and the work is remote.
The candidate will be responsible for the leap software billing, meeting with and assisting attorneysThis candidate should feel comfortable relaying messages between various groups and keeping all documents important to the cases they are working on organizedA team player and ability to work well independently while maintaining a high level of timeliness and attention to detail is a must.
Hours and compensation
- hours: the client`s need is a few hours per month - however long it will take the candidate to do the monthly billing in the softwareThe candidate would need to be flexible and communicative when the client reaches out for projects.
- compensation: the contractual pay for this position is $30 per hourPayroll is bi-monthlyDue to the 1099 nature of this position, no benefits are offered and you are responsible for your own taxes.
Responsibilities
Review, maintain and upkeep the billing files with leap software
Meeting with attorneys
Create and maintain case files
Qualifications
Experience as a transactional real estate paralegal
Experience with leap software
Bachelor`s degree or paralegal certificate
Candidate must take their job very seriously, is reliable, dependable, pays attention to detail, and is ready to hit the ground running
