What your role is
As a backend/api engineer on our engineering team, you will build an outstanding product trusted by the top financial services companiesYou will work at the intersection of user experience, engineering, finance, compliance, and securityWe are an agile, cross-functional team and you will have a lot of ownership over the product and a meaningful impact on our success.
What you`ll do
Work with other engineers, and product managers to turn our product and technical vision into a tangible roadmap
Build, test, and ship customer-facing features/products using modern toolsOur api engineers use node.js (typescript), postgresql, elasticsearch, and aws
Write high-quality, well-tested code to meet the needs of our clients
Iterate quickly based on product and client feedback
What we`re looking for
3-5+ years of experience developing and scaling production services
Experience developing rest apis and familiarity with relational databases/sql, and integrating with third-party apis
Ability to write high quality, well tested code that meets the needs our customers
Experience working collaboratively on an engineering team
Nice to haves:
Experience working with node.js (typescript), postgresql, redis, etl, or aws
Experience working in the fintech or financial services industry
