Key responsibilities
Lead a global team of both in-house and external resources covering north america, europe, apac and latam regions to provide world-class employment law support to alorica`s operations teams.
This position reports to alorica`s general counsel
Candidate must have several years` experience advising a global business with employees located in the philippines, mexico, canada, india, panama, guatemala and other apac/latam countries as well as us and canada
Responsible for budgeting outside counsel, staffing expenses, and other vendor spend across all regions
Bpo experience and experience with the us dol/osha/eeoc also preferred
Duties include advising alorica`s regional presidents on country-specific labor issues including onboarding, managing, and separating with both hourly and salaried employees in the various countries alorica operates, including wage and hour compliance, independent contractor issues, and other bpo-specific issues inherent with seasonal and temporary hiring.
Candidate should have experience with creating and maintaining programs and policies to support alorica`s commitment to diversity, inclusion and equality.
Candidate should also have experience with immigration laws affecting alorica`s operating countries, as well as data privacy laws affecting the alorica employment experience.

Bachelor`s degree or equivalent work experienceBusiness administration or related field (required)
Master`s/advance degreeJd from an aba accredited institution (required)
