Sales representative candidates must have the ability to develop knowledge of the local market, prospect for new business and use consultative selling techniques.
Position requirements:
· high school diploma or equivalent
· one year of experience in a sales environment, preferably including marketing, prospecting, cold calling, networking, preparing quotes and delivering presentations
· property and casualty insurance license is to obtained within 90 days of starting (reimbursement available)
· excellent interpersonal and communication skills
· experience with pc software applications such as ms office suite, internet explorer, etc.
· work from home options available to in state colorado applicants
· previous insurance experience helpful, but not required
Compensation & benefits:
· hourly pay rate of $16.95 per hour plus commission
· flexible part-time work schedule of 30 hours per week
