Quality assurance engineer job description
(mid to senior)
We’re looking for a qa engineerThe focus of the job is to use a combination of manual and automated testing to ensure that amira’s offerings ship with high qualityThis is senior job– you should have three to eight years of experience as a qa engineer.

What you will do
Work on an agile scrum team as the lead qa engineer
Create and execute test plans for epics & user stories
Build qa process, coordinating and leading less senior qa engineers
Work closely with engineers to ensure that the spectrum of testing from unit to uat is performed with each release
Work with the product owner to ensure that testing reflects the design goals for each user story
Perform manual testing
Create automated tests
Help create an automated quality surround for the software
Work in an environment that supports your individual growth
Who you are:
You have a bachelors or masters degree in a computer science or related field.
You are a competent coder in python.
You are a persistent, relentless tester.
You have a tester’s mentality and the ability to spot real problems in a sea of data
You have experience with selenium and/or other automated test tools.
You have a desire to be at a silicon valley start-up, with the desire and commitment that requires.
You are able to enjoy working on a remote, distributed team and are a natural collaborator.
