We are recruiting for a talented business analyst experienced with eliciting, analyzing, organizing, communicating, and managing an organization’s requirements for making changes to business processes, information systems, and data in the context of a consulting project.
Work closely with business stakeholders to understand objectives and strategy in order to create and document business and functional requirements
Experience with data mapping, data conversion and/or data cleansing projects is required
Engage with other departments and employees to understand, gather and document their business, functional, and non-functional requirements
Elicit requirements using interviews, workshops, document analysis, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis and workflow analysis
Create industry standard business requirement documentation that will feed into the development cycles
Support developers, qa engineers, and other team members in understand and interpreting the requirements
Interpret customer business needs and translate them into software development requirements, including user stories and acceptance criteria
Analyze test defects and triage into prioritized categories
Document and maintain the product library including product definition / usability guides, process flows and detailed specifications
Previous experience:
7-10+ years’ experience in developing industry standard business requirements and functional specifications
Experience working in agile/scrum methodology
Demonstrated aptitude towards analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess relevant facts, identify alternative approaches and supply recommended solutions.
Ability to iterate your designs and solutions efficiently and intelligently, and to include feedback into the iterations.
Working knowledge on some of requirement gathering & management tools like blueprint, balsamiq, jira, enterprise architect
Must have strong communication skills, attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, the ability to manage time and resources to meet assigned deadlines
Ability to take strategic guidance on product direction and convert it into actionable designs and product development
Financial industry experience is a plus
