We are currently seeking a sales assistant with an eye for detail; mortgage/loan industry prior experience is highly desirable! responsibilities:
Perform such other tasks as may be assigned by your manager and/or senior management throughout the entire loan process.
Provide exceptional customer service to customers, operations staff and all third parties throughout the process
Maintain working knowledge of loan programs and applicable guidelines.
Ensure that loans meet regulatory and underwriting guideline compliance.
Manage multiple loan files and cases to ensure each loan closes in a timely manner.
Review closing costs and coordinate closings with company closers.
Anticipate and proactively address underwriter conditions to the extent possible.
Work closely with underwriters to understand conditions and explain to the tpo
Loan origination system in a timely and accurate manner.
Collect and input customer, property and other information required to originate the loan into company’s product requirements.
Review all documentation provided by the tpo for sufficiency to meet underwriting guidelines and loan
Company policy and procedures and answering inquiries/addressing issues.
Create and foster good working relationships with tpos for whom one is assigned by
Review and/or process loans submitted by third party originators (tpos).
