Arsenalbio builds powerful cell therapy products using its growing toolbox of synthetic receptors and other elements to form complex, integrated transgene cassettes for cell engineeringThis role sits at the interface between the toolbox and product application, where strategic plans are created and managed to execute early stage product development, screening numerous product compositions to nominate lead candidates to hand off for preclinical developmentIn it, you will collaborate closely with colleagues across arsenalbio’s medical sciences and technology departments, as well as external partners.
What you will do:
Lead product application of synthetic biology assets
Develop strategic plans, balanced for risk and resource intensiveness
Manage cross-functional product teams
Lead decision-making process on project teams, ensuring clear documentation and data sharing practices
Coordinate tasks across multiple projects, demonstrating prioritization and planning
Recruit and mentor scientists and research associates with relevant expertise
Flexibility to work remotely based on manager’s discretion and on project needs
What you will bring:
Your whole self
Phd in molecular biology, immunology, protein engineering or a related field, with 5+ years of combined relevant research experience in industry and academia
3+ years of project leadership experience
Entrepreneurial behaviors demonstrated by agility, accountability, transparency, resourcefulness, and ability to get things done
Ability to quickly learn new skills and knowledge on the job, demonstrate productivity, and deliver high-quality results
Flexible mind with ability to think outside the box, creative approach to problem solving, and comfort in working with ambiguous data in an open-ended, exploratory process
