The quality data analyst will develop, maintain, analyze, and report on a variety of business intelligence data, supporting sector and business area management needsThis role is a great fit for a creative individual with an affinity for querying data and automating reporting tasks in order to present valuable information from available dataData tasks include utilization of various analysis tools such as spreadsheets, database queries, data visualization (charts, graphs), and report scripts (macros, vb, python)Good communications skills required to collaborate with other functional departments and provide written and verbal reports.
The role: in this role, you will:
Assist with gathering client requirements for pending data & analytics, and business reporting/transformation projects.
Work closely with colleagues across the business area to understand needs and verifying requests.
Participate and advise in data & analytics projects and initiatives across the business area.
Analyze data from multiple sources and compiling into a digestible and actionable format to enable effective decision making.
Identify process and system improvement opportunities by monitoring existent metrics, analyzing data, and partnering with internal teams.

Required education, experience, & skills
Bachelor`s degree in computer science or it-related field and 2 years of experience or 6 years of experience in lieu of degree
Knowledge in software development, database development, and software systems administration
Knowledge and experience in database systems, web application, and associated tools such as sql, power bi, tableau, and python
Knowledge in data analytics and data storytelling
Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills
Ability to work independently as well as part of team
Effective communicator, written and spoken
Preferred education, experience, & skills
Bs degree
Advanced ms excel proficiency including power query and power pivot
Python, c++ or similar programming languages, sql experience
Data science / analytics and statistical analysis skills desirable
