Are you an experienced quality assurance engineer? are you ready to use your experience to develop systems solutions and protect our nation`s critical infrastructure? bae systems is looking for a motivated, challenge seeking, and positive individual to work with software developers and designers on a team that evaluates developed systems for the air forceA successful candidate will analyze and implement a test plan based on requirements, functional specifications and design specificationsYour knowledge of software quality assurance practices, this candidate will generate problem resolutions and track quality assurance standards against system performanceThe candidate will document the results and communicate defects to the development team so they can start improving the toolAdditionally, this candidate will build experience in various types of testing, including performance, usability, user acceptance testing, and testing process improvementThis is an opportunity to broaden your skills in documenting and solving system deficiencies as well as leading and mentoring othersFor the right candidateThis position is open to remote delivery anywhere within the u.s., to include the district of columbia.
Required education, experience, & skills
2+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance
Experience building testing guides
Experience working with design and software development teams
Knowledge of chrome dev tools
This position requires an active secret clearance.
Hs diploma or ged
Ability to obtain security+ certification
Preferred education, experience, & skills
1+ years of experience in penetration testing
Experience working with jira issue tracking
Experience in software development
Possession of excellent attention to detail
Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
