Summary/objective
The senior software quality assurance specialist takes a lead role in testing software written in php and related technologies as part of new and existing projects that support business operations for a small, automotive related, software company; maintain product environments and dependenciesThis role is responsible for ensuring bug free software releases.
Essential functions

Meet with developers to determine testing parameters
Oversee testing when more than one person is involved
Drafting of test documents and documenting new software (if applicable)
Implement testing procedures and oversee the qa process
Troubleshoot quality and performance issues and modify test procedures as necessary
Create automated test scripts to expedite testing and ensure regression testing is done
Work with different teams to ensure that tests are successfully carried out.
Willing to learn new technologies (angular/laravel) to write unit/feature/integration tests
Coordinate with support on training and documentation of new features & their use
Ensuring the successful deployment of products and changes
Improve operations by identifying optimization and integration opportunities
Maintain project integrity by use of source control and automated testing
Protect operations by keeping information confidential
