Manager, creative brand marketing the creative brand marketing manager will be responsible for the planning and project coordination of marketing and creative media deliverables for the black news channel network and the bnc go network brand campaigns and original programming initiativesThis role will manage the end-to-end marketing process including campaign timelines, budget management, approval checkpoints, consumer activations and delivery of assets to ensure campaigns go live on budget and on timeThe daily
Develop and communicate overall brand and campaign vision, competitive positioning, and execute comprehensive, coordinated 360, multi-platform strategies (television, consumer events, out-of-home, social and digital marketing) to increase consumer acquisition, engagement and retention for content, products, brands, and programming.
Utilize data, insights and research.
Continually evaluate and adjust strategies based on changing markets and competitive conditions.
Establish coordinated strategy for content as marketing tools, in collaboration with public relations, social, content creative and digital teams.
Collaborate closely with executives and brands to ensure consistency of message and overall mission and optimize use of collective resources.
Work regularly with the news and development department to coordinate overall marketing strategies, assets, new opportunities, and maximize use of resources across the organization.
Foster relationships and partner with key stakeholders to define and drive the cross functional strategy and deliver excellenceWork across matrixed organization, including programming, production, research, sales and creative departments, to ensure marketing goals are clear and activities are well coordinated with other operational initiatives.
Work with talent team to develop tailored marketing ideas for talent.
Establish strong working relationships and streamlined processes with in-house and out of house creative agencies to ensure shared understanding and execution of marketing goals.
The essentials
Minimum 5+ years of progressive marketing experience
Bachelor`s degree required
Extensive experience and knowledge of the marketing function in relation to the linear/ott television, digital, and social media landscape
Extremely organized and excellent attention to details
Experience working directly with multiple stakeholders, designing presentations and managing multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline driving environment.
Strong team player and relationship builder
