The law office of barry mSnyder p.aHas 40 years’ experience representing a diverse range of clientsWe are a boutique personal injury firm in the north dade area representing those who have been injured in auto collisions, slip and fall or trip and fall, trucking accidents, motorcycle accidents, boating accidents and medical malpractice casesWe give each of our clients personal attention – they are not just another number to usWe are searching for an experienced litigation paralegal.
This is a virtual contract position with 30-40 hours per weekPrefer candidates who are within driving distance of the office.
We are seeking an experienced paralegal who is detail oriented, analytical, self-managing and motivated with good people skillsCandidate should have at least several years of experience in plaintiff’s personal injury.
The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys learning something new every day and can also manage the routine work that is essential to keeping our cases movingOur candidate must be motivated to do the highest quality work!
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Handling cases from inception up to and through trial
Calendar court dates and preparing motions to continue, notices of hearing, and other motions
Maintaining communication with clients and providing updates on case progress
Requesting discovery and other case-related documents
E-file pleadings
Scheduling mediations, depositions and other matters
Communicating with clients and providing updates on case progress
Some of these tasks will need to be completed simultaneously, therefore our candidate must have impeccable attention to detailThe person we hire will be self-reliant and unafraid to ask questions.
