About the role:
We`re looking for an experienced full stack engineer to join our teamYou will work with members of our team to build new products, features and scalable architecture for web/native applications and integrate 3rd party servicesThe technologies you are familiar with are less important to us than your ability to demonstrate practical experience of web application development, such as agile engineering methods backed by a deep understanding of software engineering best practicesYou will support and collaborate with all departments in a highly regulated financial environmentThis position will encompass many development facets with the opportunity to build and lead a team to support our future growthA strong understanding of front-end and back-end technologies preferably in a fintech or banking environment is ideal for this position.
You are:
An impactful contributor to the team to plan, design, and build elegant solutions.
Able to collaborate with our team to develop and implement an end-to-end digital foundation with apis, segmentation, authorization, etcAlong with setting up a scalable framework to support multiple products, partners, systems, and monitoring.
Responsible for building and maintaining the core data infrastructure, apis and features to power our applications and help build the framework that keeps these services together.
Maintain and improve web-based applications and websites with industry best practices.
Collaborate with a cross-functional team to experiment and increase user engagement opportunities.
You have:
Experience with ui design patterns, security, performance and usability.
You care about the user experience and know how to build user-friendly web & native applications.
Familiarity with modern engineering practices: code reviews, automated testing & stay updated on developments in web applications and coding languages.
You are comfortable and productive working in an agile environment.
Your skills and experience include:
Expert in python, ruby or other object-oriented language.
Expert with associated standard libraries and frameworks.
Mastery of baas concepts and architectural designs.
Expert with react, flutter or similar web framework.
Experience working with wordpress, html, css, javascript and bootstrap.
Comfortable working with and leveraging open source tools.
Working knowledge of code versioning and design tools.
Working knowledge of ci/cd pipelines and devops.
Experience with a range of standard development tools such as jira, git, etc.
Proficiency with aws or other cloud-based infrastructure and design.
Proficiency with rest apis and microservices.
Familiar with ffiec and pci guidelines in a regulated environment.
6 years experience and proven path towards increased responsibility and complex projects.
