A quality engineer job is currently available at belcanThis is a full time, direct job with full benefitsGreat matching candidates will have zero (w/internship) through five years of experience involving quality and/or manufacturing engineeringYou will be working with first article inspection reviews, reports, and processes (fair`s), as part of a large aerospace focused quality engineering team.

Quality engineer job duties:
Creation and modification of standard work for quality processes
Review and update all ballooned drawings to the most recent drawing revision for all drawings within scope.
Review of fai (first article inspection) reports and validity of part conformance
Engineering drawing review and approvals
Characteristic accountability: verify all ballooned characteristics as well as complete spec breakout highlighting all accountable characteristics.
Cross reference each accountable characteristic to planning to show how/where in the process features are accepted or to highlight deficiencies in the quality plan.
Quality engineer qualifications:
As or bs in engineering: mechanical, manufacturing, industrial, or similar
0-5 years of work experience within quality and manufacturing engineeringInternship, co-op, and project experience will be considered
Knowledge of first article inspections/reporting/processes within aerospace is ideal, but not requiredIt can be taught
Ability to be a self-starter with potential for technical leadership and guidance
Strong analytical reasoning and problem-solving skills
Legal authorization to work in the us required: due to the nature of this work, us citizenship required
