Key responsibilities:
Recruiting:
Work with site leadership to determine staffing needs
Maintain job postings and source candidates through databases and social media
Assist the hiring team with recruiting methods and interview questions
Manage recruiting funnel including phone screens, interview scheduling, background checks and offers
Onboarding:
Conducts new hire orientation and benefits administration
Coordinate onboarding schedule with applicants and site management
Manages hris system including related record keeping and compliance initiatives
Recognition and retention:
Handle employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors
Assist with management of recognition and rewards programs
Conduct and analyze exit interviews and make actionable recommendations based on data
Contribute to hr projects and initiatives
Qualifications:
Related degree and/or 2 years` experience strongly preferred
Knowledge of applicable state and federal laws and hr best practices
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to efficiently organize workload and adapt quickly to change
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
This is primarily a remote position that requires the ability to occasionally travel to chicago area work sites
