We are growing our computational science team with energetic experts who desire to improve the lives of people with insulin dependent diabetesThe computational science team at bigfoot will work together to enable the digital health revolutionWe want to find experienced professionals who will join us in our effort to enable our next generation devices and understand our ever growing volume of rich data.
You will be able to call forth thousands of virtual patients as you contribute to bigfoot’s mathematical models of human physiologyYou will expand the accuracy and fidelity of our models and help to develop and test algorithms faster than you thought possibleYou can work across teams to develop and deploy models and simulations that meet the needs of every corner of the organizationYou are detail oriented and to prove this you’ll mention frederick banting in your cover letterYou are creative and come up with innovative approaches to build models that work.
Desired experience
5+ years experience in developing computational solutions to problems in industry
Matlab or python
Validation of mathematical models of physiology
Understanding of model and data uncertainty
Numerical techniques / numerical optimization
System identification
Stochastic modeling
Examination of sources of errors in models
Aws data workflows
Software development in an agile environment
Unix/linux operating systems
Other desired knowledge and skills
