Drive the design and implementation of highly scalable and available distributed solutions
Participate in critical component design and advise on strategic technical direction
Work closely with architects, team leaders and engineers to implement solutions
Mentor and train fellow software engineers on software development best practices
Recommend new technologies to ensure solution scalability, maintainability and quality
Ensure technical documentation for solution designs is created and maintained
Collaborate with peers and stakeholders for technology advancement and product delivery
Participate in product discussions to advise on and influence the product roadmap
Take ownership and responsibility for development initiatives and make them happen
Skills and experience required:
Bachelor`s in computer science, computer engineering, or a closely related field.
Expert knowledge of solid commercial software development experience
Proven track record of delivering scalable, efficient and reliable software solutions
Great communication, collaboration and technical leadership skills
Extensive software design experience with knowledge of methodologies
Prior working experience with open source solutions and frameworks
Hands-on working knowledge, evolving, and improving large, complex codebases
Expert knowledge with containerization and container orchestration (docker, kubernetes)
Experience with virtualization and public cloud development technologies
Strong experience and knowledge with linux
Advanced knowledge with orm and sql databases is highly desirable
Experience or interest with dns and dhcp protocols and networking.
