Key role:
Support the firm’s corporate media strategy, corporate executive positioning, and external issues, risk and reputation management programWork alongside the executives and other business partners to contribute to holistic eminence plans for key c-suite executivesServe to protect the firm’s reputation using the firm’s societal issues engagement frameworkPartner with key internal stakeholders, including investor relations, legal, finance, corporate affairs, and others to communicate with core audiencesSupport media engagements, respond to media inquiries, and cultivate relationships with media outletsCoordinate with key stakeholders to leverage social media and other digital channels to amplify the firm’s news, people, and impactThis position is open to remote delivery anywhere within the u.s., to include the district of columbia.
Basic qualifications:
5+ years of experience in media relations or communications roles, including working in public relations or public affairs
Experience working with senior executives in a media relations capacity
Experience with integrated communications, working between internal organizations, and selecting the right internal and external channels for communications
Bachelor`s degree
Additional qualifications:
Experience in financial communications, including quarterly earnings
Knowledge of industry trends, standards, and outlooks, including developing a media strategy, deploying creative tactics to build press coverage, integrating digital and social media into all elements of an integrated communications campaign, anticipate opportunities as well as roadblocks, and adjust accordingly to recommend paths to allow leadership to respond effectively
Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple issues at once, and meet tight deadlines
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
Possession of excellent measurement and analytics skills
Bachelor`s degree in marketing, communications or public affairs preferred
Compensation:
The proposed salary range for this position in colorado is $60,480 to $112,320Final salary will be determined based on various factors.
