Hourly range: our client is looking to pay $100 - $125 usd / hr
Estimated duration: 40hrs/week - long term, 6-month project

Braintrust (usebraintrust.com) is a user-controlled talent network, where you keep 100% of what you earn and actually get to own the platformWe`ve been onboarding some big clients and specifically need a senior ux designer, design systems for our client.
What you’ll do:
Play a key role in shaping the design system roadmap across web and native mobile
Play a key role in shaping the evolution of the client`s language and interaction pattern library
Design and define interaction patterns through components, documentation, and prototypes
Ensure our design system meets, and often exceeds, standards and guidelines for accessibility
Specify and maintain our core principles in visual style, typography, spacing, motion, and interaction models.
Work with developers to maintain and create new components for our library and drive the delivery of our design systems in our product offerings
Partner with brand designers to ensure the design system reflects our brand identity, and supports marketing and brand design.
Collaborate with designers across teams to curate new aesthetic and patterns.
Collaborate with ux researchers to test as needed to ensure usability and consistency.
Ask smart questions and champion new ideas, improvements and innovation
Our desired profile:
5-7 years of product ux/ui experience, inclResponsive design; at least 3 years working with design systems;
Demonstrated experience in designing successful products across web and mobile
Experience working with design system components, thinking in terms of design systems, and making rational and logical design decisions
Strong visual design and interaction design skills; able to create artifacts quickly with the right level of fit and finish
Familiarity with best in class ui + interaction patterns and best practices;
Ability to create interactive prototypes in figma
Systems thinker, detail-oriented and meticulous, can easily identify use-cases and scenarios,
Demonstrated understanding of cross-platform thinking and best practices on both mobile and desktop platforms
Experience working with product managers and engineers to implement design systems in their products
Experience working in enterprise saas
Excellent communication, presentation and collaboration skills
Experience with user research, user testing, and user flows
Expert in figma
Experience working in an agile development environment and comfort working in a fast-paced environment
Practiced at iterative ideation and deliverables, seeking and receiving feedback as a natural part of the product development process, and finding opportunities inside of requirements and constraints
A strong online portfolio that showcases a variety of work to prove it all
