Responsibilities
Take charge of testing our cloud-based software system and creating a sustainable test infrastructure.
This position involves both hands-on testing, and the design of our test infrastructure and procedures.
Get your hands dirty testing components and hardware systems and help our development team work to improve their designs for better performance and testability.
perform hands-on testing of individual product components and entire systems, with an eye to automating wherever possible
create test infrastructure – hardware and software – to verify the design and performance of various aspects of our products and sub-systems, from mechanical to electrical hardware to software to dynamic performance
develop test plans for verification and validation of the system, leading to regulatory approval
assist the various development teams with improving their internal qa processes
create detailed test plans for software and system performance testing
Knowledge requirements
3+ years experience in a qa role
experience in a saas company preferred
strong understanding of software testing fundamentals including unit testing, creating test plans, writing test cases and best practices
strong knowledge in qa best practices, and experience implementing best practices and processes
ability to learn new features quickly, understand the user`s point of view, and create and review complete test cases
experience working in a fast-paced continuous delivery environment
experience testing apis
experience with automated functional testing of web applications
security experience is a plus
