The role:
Here at emma, we are looking for a srSoftware engineer to join our 20 plus person engineering organizationThis position is remote-friendly and will be a part of our umami team, which is a small team of engineers focused on providing elegant and helpful tooling to aid our customers in account managementEvery saas company has accounts and usersWe thrive on building creative and sustainable solutions that scale with the various customers we support and we have a ton of fun doing just that!
This is a full stack engineering position with a focus on front-end developmentWe use react with supporting libraries, including a proprietary ui toolkitThe rest of our tech stack is python driven and aws basedExperience in any of these areas is valuedThe desire to learn and grow in all of them is requiredStrong experience and focus on react and javascript is valued, but this position will involve other types of development within the first 6 months of employment.
About you:
You’re someone who loves technology and cares deeply about the products you build and the customers who use them.
You have 5+ years experience building quality, production-grade software through best practices, proven design patterns, and great teamwork.
If you aren`t a master of react, that`s okWe heavily weigh potential, a desire for learning, and passion for contributing.
You can and will do a little of anything, but you have a set of skills that you specialize in and continue to improve.
You have a history of always learning, jumping into new projects, and learning new technologies, and are excited to bring that mindset to a new team.
What you’ll do:
Write codeAt our core we are engineers and enjoy solving our customers` problemsWhile writing code is key to this position you will be involved in many team conversations as we plan our adventures collaboratively.
Participate in code reviews and bring the expertise that you’ve developed in your career to help us all be and do better.
Learn how emma provides the best tooling to manage and direct marketing teams.
Mentor junior team members in best practices and help them deliver working product increments that make our customers happy.
