Full job description
Cortiz fitness is looking for an assistant manager for our for youth programsWe are looking for fun, upbeat personalitites that can bring a new mindset to our companyWe are looking for someone with a little business experience ready to grow our small company nationwide.
Our youth programs are currently in 12 schools in orlando and we are hoping to bring it back to over 30 schools.
We also have 5 summer camp locations expected to return in summer of 2022
Qualifications & skills:
High school diploma or ged equivalent
3+ years of experience working with youth or other recreational setting
Ability to interact with all age levels
Certified in cpr for children and adults (or ability to obtain certification upon employment)
Ability to make sound independent judgment and decisions when circumstances arise
Strong interpersonal communication skills
Previous experience in a specific sports program
Positive, upbeat and enthusiastic about working with children
Great customer service skills
Bilingual preferred but not required
Business strategies
2 years marketing experience
3 years management experience
Essential duties & responsibilities: responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Assist in the direction, supervision and organization kids
Participate in the development and implementation of program activities and make suggestions for improvement when necessary
Maintain high standards of health and safety in all activities for campers and staff
Be a role model to campers and staff by maintaining a positive attitude in all situations
Provides emergency care and treatment as needed
Attend required staff meetings and pre-camp training
Maintain all program equipment and supplies
Able to come up with own ideas on the fly
Network marketing
Assist in business strategies
Help grow the company
Provide all essential customer service to parents and customers
Other requirements:
Ability to be flexible with assignments and work hours required; between hours of 245pm-4:45pm m,t,th,f and 1:45- 3:45pm wednesdays
Readiness and willing to jump right in as a coach
Flexible and mobile
No felony charges of any sort on record as backround check will be required
Able to be creative on the spot
All programs are held at ocps elementary schools in orlando as its held on campus
Some job duties are remote
This is a growing businessHours can fluctuate from 10hrs-35hrs per week.
