Job title: sales engineer

Job description
Position summary: the sales engineer is responsible for planning, directing and coordinating sales activities of designated customer accounts to ensure goals & objectives are accomplished within prescribed time frames and funding parameters in order to maintain current customer account(s) and to achieve growth and profit from the realization of new products and new business opportunities.
Essential functions:
Manage current designated accounts, while identifying and engaging new accounts.
Conduct regular visits to customer purchasing, planning, and engineering personnel.
Create sales contracts, quotations and internal sample orders for cw products.
Act as lead customer contact to ensure all their program related inquiries and requirements are addressed.
Create forecast and achieve the revenue targets for all products within the assigned accounts.
Identify current and future customer service requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual customers and other persons in a position to understand service requirements.
Prepare cost estimates by studying blueprints, plans, and related customer documents; consulting with engineers, and other professional and technical personnel.
Prepare and negotiate pricing for production orders and prototype orders.
Maintain knowledge and understanding of industrial market trends, practices, and new developments and opportunities, and communicate to senior management in a timely and effective manner.
Understanding the product and the manufacturing process by knowing the product specifications and manufacturing process.
Manage partnerships with internal & external resources at cw bearing to accomplish objectivesLeverage globalization.
Qualifications
Bachelor of science, mechanical engineering (bsme) degree, related degree, or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales or application engineering in bearings or of related field.
Driven to build a fast-growing business within cw bearing and to meet or exceed expectations of executive management.
Ability to consistently meet deadlines is required
Position also requires a motivated person with excellent written and verbal communication, negotiation and leadership skills.
Ability to sustain a high degree of professionalism in interacting with internal and external customers
Effective attention to detail, problem solving, analytical and organizational skills is required
Travel: ability to travel as required (overnight & outside of us).
