Cameli & hoag, p.cSeeks an experienced litigation attorney to represent its clients in state and federal courts in indiana (and potentially illinois if admitted)This is an excellent opportunity for the candidate to defend cases in a variety of areas, including construction, commercial transportation, premises liability, product liability, and other complex civil litigationCameli & hoag offers competitive compensation and benefits.
We are open to this being a mostly remote position with some need to attend court hearings, depositions, and/or trials in-personWe have an office in hammond, indiana if you would prefer to work in an office setting.
Qualifications: we are seeking a motivated attorney, who will make a positive contribution to the team and be able to work independentlyThe candidate must also possess strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skillsWe are seeking an associate who has the desire to critically analyze complex issues and advocate on behalf of their clientThe ideal candidate would be comfortable assuming a significant caseload and handling matters with limited supervision.
Education and experience:
· substantial experience taking and defending depositions;
· broad experience in drafting legal memoranda before both state and federal courts;
· history of academic success;
· strong verbal and written communication skills; and
· trial experience preferred, but not required.
