Job description: mobile auto mechanic
Mechanic is not required to be ase certified, but must have proven work experience, tools and a strong desire to work outdoorsMust arrive to work on time and ready for duty when shift starts.
Receives calls or is dispatched to a location to offer roadside assistance in a safe and timely manner, free of accident, injury and damageProjects a friendly, professional, and cordial demeanor to all customers, and fellow employees.a strong understanding of vehicle mechanics, or the ability to make major and minor repairs to vehicles such as: installation of tires, belts, water-pumps, shocks, brakes, drive shaft, timing, battery charging, jump-starting to engine and transmission, electrical diagnostics, hydraulic and cylinder, diesel, welding repairs and other services as may be identified as necessary.maintains accurate electronic and written reports.maintains personal appearance and uniforms in compliance with established company standards.
Attends meetings as requested for job, safety or training information.completes pre-trip inspection sheets daily.maintains truck and equipment in a safe, clean state, operating it in a safe and professional manner.inspects truck equipment and suppliesScheduling and maintaining fleet vehicles as well as customersGeographical knowledge of philadelphia and the delaware valley and surrounding areas.excellent problem solving, time management and organizational skills.ability to learn how to operate wheel-lift or flatbed equipment, as well as the ability to utilize tow dollies, go jacks, or similar equipment, as necessary.perform other job related duties as assignedJob requirements: must be 21 years of age or older.must have a clean criminal background.must have a clean valid new jersey or pennsylvania driver`s license.must have excellent customer service skills.must have interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts.please send resume with salary desired and references
