Job summary:
The talent acquisition sourcing specialist is responsible for utilizing a variety of platforms and advanced sourcing techniques to generate qualified candidates for hard to fill job openings.
Essential functions:
Sources passive talent using a variety of tools and maintains a consistent quality pipeline of candidates
Utilizes knowledge of multiple recruiting resources and advanced sourcing techniques (e.gBoolean search strings) to identify diverse talent
Engages passive talent in a highly personalized and proactive way
Builds and maintains a strong network of talent resources, such as professional organizations, college/university partners and internal employee resource groups
Builds strong relationships with internal stakeholders by providing insights and guidance around interviewing best practices, pipeline management, and attracting talent
Works with talent acquisition and hiring leaders to create effective and innovative talent sourcing strategies
Perform any other job duties as requested
Education and experience:
Bachelor of science/arts (bs/ba) degree in human resources, management or related field, or equivalent work experience is required
A minimum of two (2) years of recruitment or sourcing experience is required
Competencies, knowledge and skills:
High level of energy and passion
Strong background utilizing linkedin recruiter
Proficient in building boolean search strings and other search methodologies
Sales aptitude and a competitive spirit
Ability to demonstrate successful and creative use of social, professional, and internet networking sites to identify and source candidates
Previous use and knowledge of ats systems and other recruiting tools
Personal and organizational self-awareness
Established relationship-building skills
Proven negotiation skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Licensure and certification:
Certified internet recruiter (cir), certified diversity recruiter (cdr) preferred
Working conditions:
General office environment; may be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time
