Centurions is an upcoming 501(c)3 nonprofit
Organization committed to educating the community and working with authorities in locating, rescuing and the rehabilitation of individuals oppressed by human trafficking.
The operations team member position for the nonprofit organization centurions michigan, is a volunteer position that reports to, and works with the board of trusteesThe minimum hours for this position is on average 5 hours a weekThis position requires the alignment of the organization’s purpose, mission and values, additional knowledge, skills and abilities which are as follows:
Purpose:
To serve and protect those who can not serve and protect themselves, to be an advocate of liberty through action and education.
Mission:
To educate the community on human trafficking and aid law enforcement on all levels to identify, rescue and rehabilitate victims of human trafficking.

About the operations team
The operations leadership team maintains program excellence through the development of viable interdisciplinary teams and partnershipsWill directly support the director of rehabilitation and education committee`s mission while playing a pivotal role in conducting surveillance and gathering information to assist law enforcement with the rescue of trafficked victims (overcomers) and prosecution of traffickersWe provide leadership, planning, monitoring, and quality assurance of the operations procedural processes.
Job description
We are looking for a competent operations team member to support departmental planning and monitoring progressThe qualified candidate will also assist in securing viable partnerships with law enforcement and assist in developing and implementing plans and goals for the department while enhancing productivity and ensuring compliance with rules and regulationsThey will work with the director to coordinate and supervise daily operations.
Major responsibilities:
Work with director to coordinate and supervise daily operations
Assisting director of operations in projects
Assist in developing and implementing plans and goals for the department
Assist with the transport of overcomers
Assist in ensuring compliance with regulations and internal policies
Work with the director to monitor attainment of departmental objectives
Support all directorates and committees
Assist in maintaining and securing viable partnerships with law enforcement
Help to maintain statistical data and create and maintain reports
Fulfill duties as assigned by director
Requirements:
Understanding of the issue or willingness to learn about human trafficking
Alignment with centurions` purpose, mission, and values
Knowledge of various cyber platforms and case management tools
Knowledge of basic surveillance protocols
Incorporation of a basic understanding of the behaviors, developmental needs, physical needs, emotional needs, and comfort of the child, adolescent, and adult client
Proficient in google drive and relational databases and software
Excellent organizational and leadership skills
