The manager of us sales analytics is responsible providing support to north america sales and business operations at cepheidThis remote position focuses on providing analytics as it relates to sales revenue, volume sales commitments, and business critical metrics.
This position on the north america commercial operations team and will be a remote positionAt cepheid, we make it easier and faster to access the test results you need, when and where you need them.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Be responsible for the development, monitoring, and improvement of technology and tools that will identify and track key kpis and reporting packages that will help drive sales efficiency.
Communicate and provide analytical support to sales leaders, senior executives, distribution channels, and internal departments.
Prepare, manipulate and analyze reports, including complex spreadsheets from sap, sfdc database, and bi reportsBuilds ad-hoc reports as needed by senior management.
Exercises outstanding knowledge and judgment of data analytics and is able to analyze data, understands trends, and draw conclusions to support business decisions and strategies.
Design dashboards, develop kpis and set long-term strategic and tactical department goals.
Leads day-to-day responsibilities for the team includes hiring, training, and setting individual and team goals and assists with various departmental or corporate projects as requested by management.
Collaborates closely with various departments including: sales, finance, contracts, legal, it and master data to develop strategic plans.
The essential requirements of the job include:
Bachelor’s degree with 9+ years of related work experience or masters degree with 7+ years of related work experience
Experience with crm, cpq, erp, and bi warehouse.
Advanced proficiency in sap, microsoft excel (macros, pivots, lookups), access, sql and/or vba.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Prior experience working with a commercial organization is preferred.
Ability to understand data and systems and how to integrate.
