Description
As a quality assurance (qa) analyst you’ll be part of a small (but growing) team that’s responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to testing through deployment and maintenance of both new products and enhancements for our current offeringsYou should be comfortable with developing test plans and test cases, defect documentation, and working with engineers to resolve issues.
Key responsibilities
Analyze user stories and technical requirements for validity, feasibility, and technical soundness and decompose them to extract positive and negative test scenarios and strong acceptance criteria
Design functional and non-functional test cases that verify requirements and validate functionality
Work in partnership with leadership to improve processes to verify releases meet quality standards before launch, detailing strengths and weaknesses of existing and proposed procedures and controls
Learn new technologies and stay up to date on best practices to continue to evolve the success of cerkl
Be a responsible, energetic individual passionate about creating first-class software and value for our partners in a fast-paced environment
Mentor less experienced qa testers
Skills knowledge and expertise
Proven experience as a qa analyst or similar role involving end-to-end qa/testing process
Ability to analyze functional and non-functional requirements keeping a user’s perspective in mind
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute a comprehensive testing plan
Ability to track and report defects, issues, and overall results to peers and management
Experience with test management and automation tools such as selenium, uft one, and postman
Good understanding of modern web development techniques and concepts, including code architecture, maintainability, and best practices
Experience with or interest in learning about cloud technologies (google cloud platform, aws, azure)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
