Childsavers is a nearly 100-year old dynamic and fast-growing nonprofitWe are driven and uniquely equipped to train childcare teachers and provide mental health support for children who have experienced trauma.
We are seeking an experienced individual to lead all aspects of its human resources and administrative functions.
As a member of childsavers senior leadership team, the vice president of administration and human resources (vpahr) is responsible for developing and leading a comprehensive human resources strategyYou will support childsavers’ mission, values and overall strategyThe vpahr also provides executive-level leadership and oversight for the agency’s administrative operations including physical plant management, accreditation and licensingHeadquartered in the historic church hill neighborhood in richmond, we impact children and families across central and southwest virginia.
Required qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field required; master’s highly preferred.
A minimum of seven years of human resource management experience required
Proven experience with strategy, talent management, and/or business development highly preferred.
Knowledge of property management and accreditation also preferred, but not required.
Senior certified professional (shrm-scp) or shrm certified professional (shrm-cp) certification desired.
