The record validation team (rvt) member`s primary function is the research and validation of all searches associated with subjects who have inmate or sor recordsThis includes a start-to-finish approach on all components needed to fulfill the search in its entiretyThese searches remain in a researcher’s personal queue until all components are completed and the final report is ready for release to the clientThe researcher is responsible for researching the subject’s criminal history, coordinating with vendors to find and return reportable records on the appropriate sccs or swcs, confirm identifiers, review for fcra requirements, and ensure all records are complete and up-to-date before releasing.
The research associate responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Review and validation of records returned by vendors on sccs/swcs under common names to ensure appropriate identifiers are included before releasing.
Review and validation of government sanctions
Review and validation of medical sanctions
Research and fulfillment of all bankruptcy, tax lien, civil judgment, eviction, and civil federal searches
Other duties as assigned and directed by your supervisor
