Job overview:
The software engineer i is responsible to analysis, design, develop and test software solutions for the company’s productsThis position is also responsible to provide maintenance and support to existing code following company’s standards and best code practices.
What we will expect you to do...
Utilize test driven development (tdd)
Develop code using company’s best practices and current software patterns
Follow company’s code standards to fix product issues (bugs)
Read, understand, debug products code to find and solve current software problems
Perform roll outs to clients as needed
Test software solutions appropriately before deliver to testing team
May be asked to perform other duties as assigned
What you will likely need to succeed...
Some knowledge of asp.net, mvc, web api, c#
Some knowledge of javascript, ajax, jquery, json
Some knowledge of sql server transact –sql and store procedures
Some knowledge of unit tests and testable code
Knowledge of source control management
Degree in computer science or related field or 2yrs of relevant experience
Some knowledge of angular js (preferred)
Physical requirements...
Able to work at a computer and monitor (sitting and standing) for extended periods of time
