About the job
We have an exciting and challenging opportunity for a senior qa automation engineerReporting to the software qa manager, the senior qa automation engineer will lead the automation efforts for all of ziff davis voice’s services, mobile, and web applicationsYou will work with all voice engineering teams, supporting them as they write unit, integration, and end to end testing for their specific servicesResponsibilities include, but are not limited to, creating testing frameworks for new projects, building regression test suites for existing projects, and mentoring the offshore qa automation team in automation.
What you`ll do
Architect and build a system for testing across all of our different teams and services
Work collaboratively with all ziff davis voice engineering teams to help them craft a testing strategy for their own systems
Guide and mentor other qa automation engineers in building a robust automation platform
Write automated end to end tests to help test across our entire system
Write documentation and lead knowledge sharing to give engineers the tools to write their own end to end tests
Work to reduce the time it takes to run ci, even as we continue to add additional tests
Continue to grow your skill set and knowledgeWe are committed to investing in ourselves and our team
Experience we want to see
Extensive experience with katalon and kobitan
Experience with automating mobile and desktop applications on ios, android, and windows devices
Experience with building an end to end testing strategy from the ground up (familiar with deploying infrastructure, orchestrating tests, etc...)
Experience working with agile software development processes
Experience with git version control
Experience with jira bug tracking software
5+ years of experience as a test automation engineer
