Full job description
The srQa engineer will be responsible for performing test activities on assorted consensus projectsActivities include: reviewing requirements; writing test plans, test strategy documents, and test cases; test case execution; automation script maintenance; and evaluation of designsThis srRole involves a great deal of creativity, initiative, and a high level of independent judgment.
Duties
Provide technical leadership detailed test and measurement development activity.
Develop validation designs (including automated test systems).
Design and balance system test procedures.
Develop and monitor the automation test scriptsJenkins job test scripts execution and analyzing the results for script failures and leverage results to drive improvements
Communicate, coordinate, and consult with engineering departments , product managers and project managers.
Working closely with qa leads to provide the test case execution and test case writing status and take the tasks from qa leads and provide timely updated on the task progress.
Follow qa standards and procedures
Design and implement automated tests, drive measurable improvements in automation capabilities against established goals
Reviewing product requirement documents and write use cases that can lead to detail test scenarios and test scripts.
Providing project status reports with test case execution and defect bug list
Reporting defects with proper troubleshooting analysis
Participating in production deployments
Engage constructively with other team members to achieve business goals
Demonstrate ability to learn and train others in the use of our qa tools and processes
Contribute to project planning, estimating, and progress tracking
Stay abreast of new technology and competitive products in the field of communications technology.
Qualifications/requirements
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science, or equivalent experience
7+ years’ experience in software quality assurance
4+ years hands-on test automation experience using jmeter,node js (jave script)
Sql db validation
Rest & soap api validation experience using nodejs (java script), postman or jmeter
Extensive test experience with backend applications
Familiar with frontend web applications and mobile apps
Familiar with aws applications such as s3, dynamodb, cloudwatch.
Backend server application validation knowledge
Knowledge on devops context for aws, git and jenkins can be plus
Experience with jira and testrail tools
Ability to develop and manage all aspects of the testing effort, including plans, schedule, tools, and team members
Understanding of software development life cycle methodologies (particularly agile)Hands-on experience with agile/scrum & waterfall process environments
Ability to review test deliverables for completeness, quality, and compliance with established standards
Excellent communication/presentation skills
Strong organizational skills, including the ability to respond quickly in a fast-paced environment
Able to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously in order to meet deadlines
Nice to have selenium core java experience
