Core responsibilities include
Writing and maintaining test automation to ensure our product is reliable and working as expected
Investigating test failures, filing bugs, and diving into product issues.
Developing test strategies with the qa team and developers, and executing those plans
Expanding our ci/cd pipeline, working to automate manual steps in our development process
Qualifications
2+ years of qa experience, with an automation background, ideally working on an enterprise software product with a highly technical product/team
Experience writing code in python
Experience developing tests in common test automation frameworks & tools (pytest, selenium, etc.)
Bachelors, masters, or foreign equivalent in computer science or a related fieldEquivalent experience will also be considered
You have experience testing complex applications, developing automated tests, and unraveling issues you find during the qa process
You are thrilled by the notion of improving our automation pipeline, and working with the development team to build the best ci/cd system possible
You have an understanding of both public clouds and traditional on-premise software
You are comfortable working in a dynamic work environment where change is expected, and we are always striving to improve our processes
