Coastal pension services is currently offering a $3,000 sign on bonus for applicants that apply for the senior retirement plan administrator through october 31st.
The senior retirement plan administrator serves as the primary consultant for a dedicated book of clients and is responsible for providing the uppermost level of customer service while delivering accurate, timely deliverablesThe candidate will be a team player with a proven track record of being proactive, efficient and comfortable with deadlines.
Essential functions and primary duties:
Primary contact for assigned block of clients
Effectively communicate with clients, advisors, auditors, tax professionals, etc.
Responsible for the overall client satisfaction on the assigned business
Perform all aspects of required annual administration to include annual non-discrimination testing, complex contribution calculations, asset reconciliation, government forms preparation
Ability to recommend plan design changes
Optimizes resources to resolve a variety of issues with clients, including inquiries on compliance, tax reporting, audits, and regulatory guidance
Preferred qualifications:
Five years or more of retirement plan administration and/or compliance experience
Advanced understanding of cross-testing and complex compliance testing issues
Credentials with asppa
Possess advanced knowledge erisa and other regulations
Proficient use of ms office suite (outlook, word, excel, powerpoint)
Experience with asc software is a plus
Ability to self-learn and develop technical knowledge quickly
Motivated team player with demonstrated interpersonal skills
Comfortable working with quick turnaround times and deadlines
Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels of the organization
