Curriculum videographer - this is currently a remote position

Coding dojo is looking for a videographer who possesses the ability to design and implement the company`s curriculum vision to help students achieve learning objectivesThe primary goal of this position is to work with the curriculum team to produce high-quality, engaging educational material through the medium of audio & video, with additional tasks in editingYou will be responsible for creating cohesive video experiences for a variety of learners, working with our curriculum team to weave together great visuals, transitions, and presentationsYou should also be able to guide our distributed curriculum team with preliminary shooting, lighting, and audio.

What you`ll do
Produce | work with our curriculum team to craft conceptual videos to help students navigate the toughest concepts with ease.
Edit | you`ll be responsible for editing different types of videos and should be comfortable crafting a story with your editsA big emphasis will be placed on creating educational content.
Communicate | work directly with the curriculum department to provide creative input on content delivery.
Essential functions
Day to day responsibilities for planning, filming, and editing videos to be used for a variety of curriculum.
Uses creativity and imagination to develop evergreen content.
Ensures look and style of videos are produced with creativity and consistency and production deadlines are met.
Schedules pre-production, production, and post-production activities.
Performs related or similar duties as required or assigned.
Requirements
Experience in professional video/audio recording and editing in the studio or in the field
Portfolio of work
Knowledgeable on proper lighting, sound, and video quality for educational videos
Expert in adobe premiere and other adobe creative cloud products, cameras, and sound equipment
Knowledgeable about zoom, youtube, vimeo
Experience in the educational space a plus
Attention to detail is a must
Ability to shoot and/or coach curriculum team and make proper editing decisions with minimal supervision
Ability to work quickly and produce high-quality videos with short turnaround times
Ability to consistently meet deadlines and work under pressure
Experience with animations and motion graphics
Graphic design software experience (illustrator, photoshop, etc) / able to create graphics as needed to supplement video (title screen, chapter images, etc)
Strong interpersonal skills and team player
Minimum education/experience
Bachelor`s degree in communication, broadcasting or a related field from an accredited four-year college or university.
5+ years of experience related to the above described duties.
Related experience may be considered as a substitution for education
