Full job description
We are looking for an experienced senior account manager within the marketing & events industry to create and organize excellent events and marketing programsYou will be responsible for every aspect of the event planning process, from selecting venues and proposing talent, to evaluating success afterwardsThe senior account manager must be well-organized and comfortable working in a fast paced environmentCommunication skills and attention to detail will set apart the best among the candidates.
Responsibilities
Lead all client related status/ program calls and briefing meetings during program development
Understand requirements for each event as indicated in the client event brief
Manager all aspects of the event/ marketing program planning process
Book venues, vendors, talent, etc.
Management of talent agreements, press releases, development and management of talent social flights and leadership of talent communications
Research vendors, venues, influencers, talent choose the best combination of quality and cost
Negotiate with vendors to achieve the most favorable terms
Lead the development for any/ all client facing event proposals and budgets
Work alongside account producer to assist with any/ all program related support including but not limited to marketing deck presentations, operations orders, etc.
Development of program recap decks post program
Onsite event management support is expected
Skills
Proven experience as event coordinator with (5-8) years experience in event management or marketing field, agency experience preferred with exposure to beer, wine & spirits clients
A proven track record of organizing successful events
Proficient in ms office
Excellent vendor management skills
Outstanding communication and negotiation ability
Well-organized with multi-tasking skills
Able to handle stress and remain calm
Problem-solving ability
Degree in hospitality management, public relations, marketing/ communications or relevant field is preferred
