Cognizant is looking for functional quality engineer with below skill set
Location: naperville,il/remote
Position : functional qa
Education
Bachelor`s degree in computer science or related disciplineAn equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience may be taken into consideration in lieu of a degree.
Experience
5+ years of experience in software quality assurance in both manual testing and automated test developmentCareer experience of testing customer facing web applications
Experience in agile testing practices including estimation, requirement analysis, and delivery life cycles
History of quickly learning and adapting to new technologies
Required competencies
Intermediate knowledge of an objected oriented language such as java, c#, or python
Experience in creating, executing, and debugging automated tests using selenium or a similar framework
Experience and comfortability in relational database platforms like sql server or oracle strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Proficient with microsoft office products
Natural curiosity, creativity, and attention to detail preferred
Technical competencies
Comfortability in configuring/managing your preferred java ide
Experience with version control tools like git experience in ci/cd tools like jenkins familiarity with rest and soap service testing using tools like postman or soapui
Experience in deployments and management of java application servers (was/tomcat/tomee) is a plus experience with microsoft azure or aws is a plus
Experience in bi tools like tableau or pentaho is a plus
