The talent leader for collins aerospace – aerostructures will be responsible for developing and, in partnership with hr partners, executing the talent strategy in support of the overall business objectivesThe talent domain includes employee development and succession planning, performance management, retention, engagement and diversity, equity and inclusion.
The talent leader will work directly with the vice president, human resources for aerostructures and also act as a thought partner and project manager for key hr initiatives.
Ideally this role will sit onsite in chula vista, ca however, remote work will be considered.
Primary responsibilities
Develop and, in partnership with hr partners, execute a holistic talent agenda aligned with the aerostructures business objectives
Drive thought leadership and practices around employee development and succession planning, performance management, retention, engagement and diversity, equity and inclusion
Leverage hr analytics to identify emerging talent needs and develop proactive strategies to mitigate risk
Partner closely with hr business partners, the collins talent communities of expertise leaders, business leaders and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with talent needs
Interface with collins talent communities of expertise leaders to ensure the right level of influence and balance on talent polices, tools, processes and systems
Basic qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and 12 years of prior relevant experience or
Advanced degree in a related field and minimum 10 years experience or
In absence of a degree, 16 years of relevant experience is required
Demonstrated experience as an hr partner in a global organization, executing a talent agenda
Must be willing to travel up to 25%
Must be a us person/ permanent resident `green card` holder
